Project Background:
Executed the architectural transformation of a strategic shop-in-shop concession for Parfums Christian Dior within Dillard’s Haywood. The project required a complete spatial overhaul of an active wholesale footprint, elevating it into a high-visibility, open-concept luxury environment designed to drive regional brand valuation.
Project Goals:
Design Localization: Adapt Paris-issued central design guidelines to local constraints, retailer architectural criteria, and North American building codes.
Capital Efficiency: Optimize the commercial layout to maximize sales-per-square-foot yield while maintaining strict alignment with Dior’s global aesthetic principles.
LIFE 360 Compliance: Integrate LVMH Life 360 sustainability guidelines, including material selection, energy profiles, and waste management to environmental targets.
Zero-Disruption Execution: Phase construction phases aggressively to eliminate operational downtime and preserve retailer revenue streams during the build.
Project Role:
- Architectural Adaptation: Spearheaded the technical translation of Paris-issued global guidelines, converting central creative vision into buildable, code-compliant construction documents.
- Fiscal Control & Procurement: Managed the end-to-end CAPEX budget, cost-estimation modeling, and procurement tracking, delivering the project on budget with zero cost overruns.
- LIFE 360 Execution: Enforced LVMH LIFE 360 environmental guidelines across the supply chain, auditing procurement, material selection, and energy profiles to meet corporate sustainability baselines.
- Millwork & Trade Validation: Conducted rigorous shop-drawing reviews and material validations for premium millwork, ensuring global luxury finish standards were executed by localized trades.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Directed the integration between global design teams, host-retailer executives, MEP engineers, and general contractors to enforce quality-assurance baselines.
