Project Background: The Bloomingdale’s SCP project involved the design and implementation of Triax and LCP (likely Light Control Products, but confirm this if possible) shops within the Bloomingdale’s store at the Stanford Shopping Center (SCP), one of the most important shopping malls on the West Coast and nationally. This project aimed to create a visually appealing and functional retail environment for these specific brands within the larger Bloomingdale’s store.

Project Goals: Design and build impactful Triax and LCP shops that align with each brand’s identity and enhance their presence within Bloomingdale’s. Create a seamless shopping experience for customers within these shops, optimizing product display and customer flow. Successfully integrate the new shops into the existing Bloomingdale’s store environment, minimizing disruption during construction and ensuring visual harmony.
Meet project deadlines and budget requirements while maintaining high-quality standards. Effectively coordinate with all stakeholders.
Project Role: Developing the design concept and detailed construction document (CD) sets for each shop, ensuring they met brand standards, aesthetic  requirements, and functional needs. Managing the project budget, schedule, and resources from initial concept to final installation. Acting as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including the Bloomingdale’s central team, brand representatives, millworkers, vendors, and the shopping center management. Coordinating with multiple vendors (e.g., lighting, fixtures, flooring) to ensure timely procurement, delivery, and installation of materials. Overseeing the construction and installation process, ensuring adherence to design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations. Leading regular project meetings to track progress, identify and resolve issues, and maintain clear communication among all team members.
