Project Background:
Managed the architectural adaptation and construction rollout for a dedicated Parfums Christian Dior shop-in-shop environment within Macy’s Westland in Miami. This wholesale market intervention focused on converting an existing retail footprint into an elevated, high-visibility brand environment tailored to capture premium regional consumer demographics.
Project Goals:
Brand Elevation: Establish a high-end, distinctive Dior visual identity within a traditional department store environment to upgrade the overall customer journey.
Guideline Synthesis: Align the shop layout with both Paris-issued corporate guidelines and Macy’s landlord architectural criteria.
Execution Parameters: Deliver a fully compliant, premium retail installation under strict project budget limits and tight scheduling constraints.
Project Role:
- Design Adaptation & Visualization: Developed the localized spatial layout, detailed floor plans, and visual representations in coordination with central corporate design partners and local stakeholders.
- Material & Finish Selection: Selected all surface finishes, architectural materials, and store fixtures to ensure compliance with global luxury specifications and code requirements.
- CAPEX & Timeline Management: Managed the project’s design budget and construction timeline, monitoring milestones to eliminate financial overruns and schedule delays.
- Trade Coordination & Installation Oversight: Collaborated with localized construction trades, suppliers, and host-retailer teams, supervising the on-site installation to verify design compliance and final execution quality.
